Blue Lapis Earrings Sold
There are times when I look at the gemstone beads I have to make my jewelry out of and I just hate to do much to them. This was the case with these perfectly natural beauties. Mother Nature did some of her best work on these gemstones. Keeping it simple seemed a must on my part.

I love lapis lazuli, it's such a gorgeous stone. Guess it has been popular since antiquity as even the Egyptians used it in their adornments ... it is also mentioned early on in the Old Testament of the Bible.
Glad you didn't bury the beauty of these beads under layers of wire wrapping of clusters of other beads and charms, decision to keep it simple was right on.
